Three double-sided banners for the Historic Belmont Firehouse. One side has a steam gauge, bell, hose nozzle, and the Portland Fire & Rescue logo. The other has community members, old and new fire helmets, a steam pumper and a wheel. Winter 2008.
Tasks: Learned about the mission and history of Portland Fire & Rescue, photographed artifacts housed at the Historic Belmont Firehouse, developed concepts and images, incorporated the official logo, communicated with Don Porth and responded to feedback, connected with community members for photographs, addressed and approved printer proofs.
Logo for the City of Wilsonville’s Natural Resources department with a great blue heron, chinook salmon and willow leaves. Several signs along Boeckman Creek in Wilsonville are printed with the logo. The alternate option incorporates an oak tree. Summer 2007.
Tasks: Communicated with Lisa Nead from whom I gathered conceptual information, prepared a variety of options, responded to feedback, provided files in useful formats, included color variations and a small version.

Website and business identity graphics for My Dog Walker and More. Winter 2007/2008.
Tasks: Communicated with, gathered information from, and responded to the feedback of Paige Allison and Tamela Cantor, created a logo based on the concept of a rose-head on a stem body walking a sturdy dog in front of a cityscape with the colors pink and orange in use, learned about dogs, created graphics for the website and printed material, organized website information, named buttons, edited and contributed text, took photographs, prepared files according to printer specifications, and photographed the owners and dogs.

The Boeckman Road Coffee Creek wetlands site with Pleistocene megafauna from the time of the Missoula Floods. The mastodon, dire wolf and teratorn are flanked by horsetails, a spore bearing plant which thrives in wetland environments. The stratified texture at the base of the image represents rythmites, or layers of sand and silt deposited in the Willamette Valley with each flood.

Tasks for the Grand opening of Boeckman Road: Learned about the project and topics, created a concept for mayoral approval, responded to feedback and the ideas of others, incorporated provided imagery including the photography of Lisa Nead, consulted and included the suggestions of Geologist Bill Burns, prepared files for print, helped outside of the project scope for the benefit of the greater project.
